In 1995 I established Ateljé Alenhall in Malmö with a focus on scenography, stage costume and design.
In 2003, after over 20 years of amateur sewing, it was time for me to further my education at The Cutters Academy (Tillskärarakademin) in Gothenburg with courses in Pattern Design and Jacket Sewing.
This was followed by the two-year Stage Costumes/Historical Costumes programme with a two-month internship in the costume department at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm.
I extended my training by one year in tailoring with a focus on traditional tailoring for men.

In connection with my education, I and the studio moved to Balkeröd on Tjörn in Bohuslän. Today, the main part of the business is tailoring with design and production of various types of creations.
Customized courses and lectures with a historical profile is also a part of the business.
A small part of the business is devoted to grafic design, including books, brochures, illustrations, etc.
You will find Ateljé Alenhall in Balkeröd, out on Hakenäset on the island of Tjörn in Bohuslän, Sweden. If you want to visit the studio. Contact me and we will book a visit.
